AT&T now Accepting Bitcoin Payment

The telecommunications giant has taken a big leap ahead of others much to the delight of the Crypto world, they now accept bitcoin payment for services.

AT&T is the world’s largest telecommunications company, the second largest provider of mobile telephone services, and the largest provider of fixed telephone services in the United States. Taking this step is a pointer to Crytpocurrency mainstream adoption and coming at a time when Crypto is becoming more and more famous.

The Vice President, AT&T Communications finance business operations announced their adoption of Bitcoin as a payment method: “We’re always looking for ways to improve and expand our services. We have customers who use cryptocurrency, and we are happy we can offer them a way to pay their bills with the method they prefer.”

The payment gateway they are using is BitPay which is one of the pioneer Bitcoin payment gateway.

AT&T currently serve over 200 countries with not less than 400million customers in the America with over 260,000 workers worldwide.
